Sophia Field
I'm still trying to figure out how exactly I want to approach this. I know that I want to focus on head shots/ body shots for dancers to promote them selves for marketing. While I was searching for photographers I came across this photographer Sophia Field. She does a lot of headshots for actors/models/singers/dancers. I really like how she uses natural settings and not a back drop. Although I do like sometimes using a plain back drop to focus more on the face of the person..I do like this particular picture it draws you right into this women's eyes and thats exactly what you want the viewer to do. To focus on the persons face and to study her features.

headshots
I would like to focus mostly on dancers. Dancers need crystal clear pictures when sending them to different talent agencies. I wanted to just do headshots but some talent agencies require dance body shots. Whether they are motion shots or stand still. Agencies like to see bodies. I want to mostly do my photos in color but sometimes they just look better when they are in black and white like this one in specific.

Dance Head Shots
I think I want to lean towards dancers. Not necessarily action photos but head shots for dancers. Since I am I dancer getting really good color head-shots is really important for a dance career. And for children its difficult because you don't want them to look to old in a headshot but you don't want them to look to young. So a nut shell of what I'm thinking is Dancers Head Shots.

Toddler With A Tiara...with a slight twist!
I knew I wanted to use my 6 year old niece Rachael for this particular project. My whole idea behind this was to capture the idea of a beauty queen and then to capture the reality of a 6 year old trying to be made into a beauty queen. I was truly shocked when my 6 year old niece was not only posing for me and totally loving what she was doing, but giving me ideas of what she could be doing! I hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed doing this!
